They are reusable for everyday storage and can also be used for your fruit and vegetable preserves as well as for savory dishes, meats or casseroles. Le parfait recommends using a new rubber seal for each canning event to ensure vacuum seal effectiveness.

The sealing caps of the Le Parfait familia wiss range are essential for the perfect preservation of your tasty homemade dishes.
Please refer to the sizing chart shown here to determine the proper replacements needed. The 100mm sealing cap will fit the 1L or 2L screw top jars, the 110mm sealing cap will fit the 3L screw top jar.
For canning, the gold sealing caps are designed to be used in combination with the familia wiss lids for a usda-recommended two-piece lid system.

The golden sealing caps are made from tin-plated steel. the interior is coated with a food safe, bpa-free plastisol liner.
To help your sealing caps maintain their luster, we recommend hand-washing and allowing them to air-dry. they are also safe for dishwasher if desired. Please utilize a new sealing cap after each preserving event for perfect quality vacuum sealing and long-term food preservation.
