Jami Ray Vintage Christmas Home Tour

"As we add little elements here and there I love remembering the thrifting trips and crafting that made them." -Jami Ray

This year it has taken me a little bit longer to get our Christmas decorations up. I’m loving our tree. All the ornaments are handmade by Zeb and I except the balls and garland. I couldn’t find my grain sack Christmas stockings so we’re using these that I made a few years ago. I’m not a great seamstress, but the kids love them because they fit more candy. Last year we made the soup can stocking hangers. As we add little elements here and there I love remembering the thrifting trips and crafting that made them. The kids will put up their tree up later today or tomorrow and over the weekend Christmas will fill the house. I’m excited to start advent with the kids in December and enjoy this sweet time of year. Hopefully some time today we’ll get the Christmas home tour up, probably just the front living area. I’m not pushing myself. Just decorating as we feel like it. ❤️❤️❤️. Missing my Dad something fierce the last few days. He never liked spending money at Christmas. But he enjoyed the food and playing games. Crusty bread isn’t the same when I can’t feed it to him, it was his favorite.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! Thank you for making each year special.

Zeb and I put up our DIY thrifted Garland with lights. I paid $4 for the Garland and used supplies I had on hand. Lights were $9 at Home Depot. I love taking thrifted items and crafting them into something new!

Happy Thanksgiving From The Rays

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.

When I think of what I am thankful for the most my family is top of the list. Zeb and I spent all day together in the kitchen cooking and preparing a meal that took appoximately 10 minutes to devour. But it’s the memories of the kids helping us, enjoying time together and the feeling of joy that family brings that make it all worth it. Thank you for supporting our family and small business. We are all truly grateful.
