On this next episode, we make some extra floor space in our main living area. I removed all of the carpet tack strips and hundreds of staples. I also kept Zeb company while he closed off these stairs and covered the hole. We have two sets of stairs. These were unnecessary, not original, and totally ruined my open floor plan. We have a back set of stairs we are keeping. And no one will live in the basement. It will be the warehouse/fulfillment for our website. We have a week of repair, rebuild, and getting the house ready to put up walls. It’s a little tedious but I have to remind myself that with small and simple things, great things are brought to pass. Now I am going home to shower off all the dirt, drink a gallon of water, and finish designing my fall line of stencils.
